K-pop band BTS will deliver a speech at United Nations on September 24th.
The Korean group will take part in the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. In the cerimony, UNICEF will launch its program called Global Partnership Generation Unlimited.
The boys will speak for about 3 minutes about their "Love Myself" anti-violence campaign. They also have partnered with UNICEF in the Global Partnership Campaign to promote opportunities and investments for young people between 10 to 24.
In the cerimony, UN general secretary Antonio Gutierres will be present along with diplomats and world leaders.
South Korea's first lady said she wanted to be present to see the first korean band to represent their country in a U.N cerimony.
BTS is also known for Bangtan Boys and it is composed for 7 members. Since their start in 2013, they have achieved success all over the world.
They managed to break Taylor Swift's record for the biggest video debut and they got to the top of US Billboard 200 chart.
The K-pop boy band is currently on a tour in U.S.A and Canada with crowded concerts and in the social networks, they are absolute kings.
