Mischa Barton joins The Hills and the rest is still unwritten

A couple of days ago, MTV announced a reboot of The Hills, a big hit reality show inspired by The O.C about a group of friends  and how they live their lives as they pursue their careers in Los Angeles and try to achieve success.

It lasted for 6 seasons and it was enough time to get familiar with the lives of Lauren Conrad, Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, Audrina Patridge and Kristin Cavallari. Some of them managed to still be present in media in the present days.

In times of reboots, we kind of expected they would do something like that with The Hills, but we did not expect who would join the season as part of the cast.

Mischa Barton was invited to do crossing between fiction as her character in The O.C to reality as herself in The Hills.

Barton has been out of scene since she was dismissed from the series due to her erratic behaviour. 

Since that we haven't heard of her, except when she was involved in some confusion regarding driving under influence of alcohol or being caught with drugs.

Mischa has annouced it on her Instagram account through a video. She looks very pretty and she seems to be quite well. 

She is looking forward to writing a new chapter in her life and as Natasha Bedingfield says... The rest is still unwritten.

The secret’s out... I’m joining the cast of The Hills. When MTV approached me with the chance to be a part of the reality show that was inspired by The OC, it felt like the perfect opportunity for an irresistibly inviting new chapter.
