Selena Gomez: Sang off-key in her own chorus or had technical problems?

Last night (24) the American Music Awards took place in Los Angeles, California.

Selena Gomez was the artist who opened the awards with performances of her hit "Lose You To Love Me" and the promotional single "Look At Her Now".

Unfortunately, the singer sang off-key in her own song and received a lot of negative reviews. Check out the performance below:

The news site, Billboard, said there were technical problems in broadcasting the performance to the TV. Other media sites reported the performance at the venue didn't sound out of key and that the singer had a panic attack a few minutes before the performance.

All statements seem like just excuses, as it sounds out of tune in this video shot straight from the venue as you can see here:

One fan said she met Selena and praised her performance saying it was good and the singer responded with a brief "No".

If Selena herself admits it wasn't a good performance, I don't know why some sites and fans create such a fanfare by making unnecessary excuses.
